Samara Baksh ’23 has been named a US Presidential Scholar. Only five students in the state of New York were among the 161 students honored this year, and Samara is the only female recipient from an independent school in the state.

A member of the Math Team, Acting Company, Model UN club, an Eco Fellow and a varsity swim team and lacrosse team athlete, Samara will continue to pursue her passion for engineering and economics at Harvard University next year. Congratulations, Samara!
