Upper and Middle School students were recognized with 123 awards from the 2026 New York City Scholastic Awards. This year, there were 21 student winners in the writing category and 18 in the art category. The program, established in 1923, offers esteemed recognition for young creatives. Submissions are judged in the visual and writing categories on their originality, technical skill, and an emergence of personal voice or vision as a part of their review process.
