(New 2027) Spence is excited to offer one of the fastest growing girls team sports in the country, Flag Football. Grades 5-6 Flag Football Team instruction will focus on individual skill development, game rules, fitness and introduction to team game play strategy. The team will incorporate those skills into small-sided and full-field game play in the spring season. Flag Football Team practice will be 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. Monday and Friday in Central Park, Randall’s Island or Asphalt Green. 

Athletes are required to wear sport-appropriate footwear (molded cleats or sneakers) and be prepared for both indoor and outdoor practice as weather dictates.

After practice, students are picked up at Spence 91. Please see the team’s game schedule on the Athletics website for return/pick-up time on game days.
