In 2025-26 the Sabers rode the wave of exciting young swimmers complimented by veterans of the program and emerging leaders! The team was fully invested and committed to a TEAM approach and used their depth to secure their first AAIS Swim Team title since winning it back to back in 2007 and 2008.

The Sabers went on to make a huge splash finishing 3rd in the NYSAIS Team Swim Championship, shattering multiple individual and team records that have stood for more than a decade.

A challenging AAIS schedule prepares the team for a highly competitive AAIS postseason championship meet. As a longtime AAIS swimming power, and a strong core of returning swimmers, Spence will look to challenge again for the AAIS Swim Championship Team title in 2026-27!

 

Practices are Monday through Friday. The team trains at Asphalt Green and Convent of the Sacred Heart, pools, as well as additional fitness training three times a week to prepare athletes to swim competitively in a variety of events and distances. Athletes are required to supply their own practice swimsuits and goggles.
