(New 2027) Spence is excited to offer one of the fastest growing girls team sports in the country, Flag Football. Grades 7-8 Flag Football Team will focus on individual and team skill development, game rules, fitness, learning to implement playbook elements and game strategy. The team will incorporate those skills into small-sided and full-field games in the spring season. Flag Football Team practice will be 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in Central Park and Randall’s Island.

Athletes are required to wear sport-appropriate footwear (molded cleats or sneakers) and be prepared for both indoor and outdoor practice as weather dictates.

After practice, students are picked up at Spence 91. Please see the team’s game schedule on the Athletics website for return/pick-up time on game days.
