Spence Alumnae Tour Museum of the City of New York
On Wednesday, January 25, 2017, a group of 15 alumnae from the Classes of 1955 to 2016 had a private, curator-led tour of the exhibition “New York at Its Core” at the Museum of the City of New York.
The alums were treated to a tour before the museum was open to the public thanks to Amanda Haynes-Dale ’68 and the Evelyn G. Haynes Fund, which made the tour possible. Curator Lilly Tuttle walked the group through the history of New York, illustrated in the exhibit through historic objects and images, photographs, videos, and interactive digital experiences. Truly a wonderful tour and exhibition to visit!
