If the opener is any indication, the bar is set high for the Sabers basketball team and they are ready for the challenge! Despite being edged 46-43 in the first game of the season, the young Sabers had two players in double-digits on the scoresheet and six players chipping in with points.  

The sophomore trio of Livia S., Izzy P, and Sophia N. led  the way, especially in transition.  Freshmen, Marissa F. and Emma V. joined forces with seniors, Morgan K. and Yang L. with strong two-way play.  

The Sabers will be back in action in a non-league game on Friday, December 4th at 4:30pm at Spence 93st St. versus Leman.
