Computer Science faculty member Jeremy Joven has received an honorable mention for the 2023 Computer Science Teacher Association Award for CS Teaching Excellence. 

The award recognizes teachers who demonstrate their excellent work inspiring students to explore the computer science field; effectively engage students in learning rigorous, standards-aligned, computer science content; and a focus on broadening participation of underrepresented students in computing.

Jeremy teaches Coding and is a Middle School Robotics Club advisor, guiding the club as they’ve gone on to win many awards recently, including the First Place Core Values Award at the 2023 New York City Championships of the FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge. Read more here.
