The Lower School Sampler is an opportunity to independently explore our Lower School building, learn more about the curriculum and meet members of the Spence faculty and administration. There is also a student panel moderated by Head of School, Bodie Brizendine.
Our Families of Color Discussion Circles event offers an in-depth dialogue about Spence’s mission for racial equity and how it comes to life in our curriculum. The event features a panel followed by small group discussions facilitated by Spence faculty, parents and students.
Our Parent to Parent event is a unique opportunity for prospective Kindergarten parents to meet and speak frankly with current Spence parents. There will also be a panel discussion featuring members of the Spence community, moderated by a current Spence parent.
Join current African American/Black parents for a candid, purposeful and focused dialogue about the Spence community. This is an affinity event for applicant families who identify as African American/Black.
Discover how Spence students deepen their sense of self, build capacity, and work collaboratively to transform themselves and the world in a community marked by a broad range of racial, ethnic, social, cultural and religious backgrounds. Students and their parents are invited to attend.
