The Spence School Teaches Squash to Kindergarten through Grade 12 Students!
The 412 Squash Center, the premier facility in NYC with 9 state-of-the-art courts, provides comprehensive squash opportunities for all ages and skill levels. Throughout the school year, Spence students have the opportunity to learn one of the fastest growing and most challenging sports.
Lower School students have the opportunity to try squash through Spence’s after-school program, Second Act, as well as through their Ecology Residencies. In Middle and Upper School, students can participate through our Athletics programs through various opportunities, including JV and Varsity Teams. Additionally, while students are at 412 for their Ecology Residencies, squash is offered as a part of the student’s Physical Education experience.
We also offer special events and workshops for alumnae, faculty, and the greater Spence community throughout the year. The Spence 412 Squash Center is also the home site for the AAIS and NYSAIS scholastic varsity league championship tournaments.
In addition, we offer junior programs, adult programs and community play opportunities throughout the academic year as well as on weeknights, weekends, holiday breaks and during the summer through the 412 Squash Association.
