Alumnae Entrepreneurs Discuss Their Paths at Of Mercer
On Wednesday, April 13, the Alumnae Association held an alumnae networking event. Those from the Classes of 1968 to 2009 attended to hear a panel of alumnae entrepreneurs. Dorie Golkin Smith ’04, co-founder of Of Mercer, a contemporary women’s brand, hosted the event at the Of Mercer flagship store and moderated the panel.
Lauren Kleinberg Levy ’93, Alumnae Association vice president, introduced the panel of alumnae entrepreneurs, which included: Kimberly Donaldson ’85, founder and CEO of Excelle Sports, Eva Karagiorgas ’98, co-founder of Mona Creative, and Jen Ross ’04, co-founder of Be Mixed.
The panelists shared their diverse experiences and spoke about how they began their careers as entrepreneurs. After the panel discussion, alumnae networked with one another, had an opportunity to shop and enjoyed delicious Be Mixed cocktails, provided by Jen.
