Congratulations to the 2021 Distinguished Alumna Award Recipient!
Judith Joseph Jenkins ’91 is the recipient of the 2021 Distinguished Alumna Award in recognition of both her professional accomplishments and endless devotion to Spence.
For over two decades, Judith has devoted countless hours to Spence and currently serves as both Secretary of the Alumnae Association and as a member of the Board of Trustees, which she joined in 2020. Prior to her role on the Board, she has held a variety of alumnae volunteer leadership positions including Secretary of the Alumnae Board, Diversity Co-Chair, Nominating Committee Member of the Alumnae Board, Reunion Committee and Class Representative. She is an IndiSPENCEables and a member of the 1892 Planned Giving Society.
Currently, Judith is the Associate Director of Investigations at Columbia University. Prior to that role she was an Agency Attorney at the New York Housing Authority, an Attorney at Epiq Systems and Assistant Corporation Counsel at New York City Law Department. She attended Columbia University and received her BA in Political Science and Government and then went on to Boston University School of Law to receive her J.D.
Judith will be honored at this year’s virtual Reunion on April 14, 2021, along with Allyson Mitchell Waterman ’85, recipient of the 2020 Alumnae Distinguished Award.
