Nancy Xu Selected as A Better Chance Scholar Award Recipient

In recognition of “exemplary strength of character,” Nancy Xu ’20 has been selected as an A Better Chance Scholar Award recipient. Nancy, now a freshman at Princeton University, is one of just six students nationwide chosen to receive this award. She was honored at A Better Chance’s recent Virtual Luncheon, Creating Leaders for a Lifetime.

“A Better Chance is thrilled to continue to learn of all the incredible things A Better Chance Alumna Nancy Xu has accomplished at The Spence School,” said Benjamin Bingman-Tennant, National Director of Programs, in an email to Spence.

Nancy’s many accomplishments include serving as captain of Spence’s award-winning Math Team, completing original research for Spence’s Independent Science Research (ISR) program and participating in the Spence Science Team.

Congratulations, Nancy!
