Spence Winter Teams Roaring Into the Playoffs

It is that magical time of year when all of the hard work, which began back in November is being put to the test. It is not always so easy for those on the outside looking in to see how far a team or its players have come over the course of the winter season, but for the team and coaches, these final days of the season are their last opportunities to rise to the challenge to Saber The Moment!
The AAIS Playoffs begin this week and there will be email updates throughout! Come out and show your True-Blue spirit and support your Sabers!

As the top seed in the tournament, the Sabers will begin their quest for their second tournament championship in as many weeks on Thursday, in the AAIS Squash Semifinal vs. the winner of the #4Chapin/#5NBS quarterfinal match. Thursday’s AAIS Semifinal will be played at 4:30 p.m. at the Eastern Athletic Club in Brooklyn, home court of the Sabers.

The youthful Stingrays have had strong leadership throughout from seniors, Sylvie B., Daniela F., Savy R. and Ashley Y. With a fleet of youngsters poised to make waves at the AAIS Championship, they are also pursuing spots in the first-ever NYSAISAA Swim Championships!
