Grades 5-6 Track & Field
Grades 5-6 track and field will introduce of a variety of events and distances. Students will incorporate their skills into the team meet setting and participate in different events to build their exposure to the complete track and field experience. Practice will be 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. and most often will be at Central Park, Riverbank State Park and Icahn Stadium at Randall’s Island. Athletes are required to run in proper running shoes. After practice, students are picked up at Spence 91. Please see the team’s game schedule for return time on meet days.
