  • Grades 7-8 Track & Field

Grades 7-8 track and field will focus on individual skill development and will introduce of a variety of events and distances. Students will incorporate their skills into the team meet setting and participate in different events to build their exposure to the complete track and field experience. Athletes are required to wear proper running shoes. Practice will be 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and most often will be at Central Park, Riverbank State Park and Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island. After practice, students are picked up at Spence 91. Please see the team’s game schedule for return time on meet days.
