Happy Holidays from The Spence School

Students, faculty and staff gathered before the holiday break in Brick Church for the annual winter All-School Assembly, celebrating the holiday season with a salute to friendship!

All performances fit within the theme of friendship, and highlights included a ukulele performance by Lower and Middle School students, reflections on friendship presented by students from each division, a performance from select choir and the annual singing of “The Twelve Days of Christmas.” View photos in this gallery.

In keeping with the holiday spirit, please also watch this video of the the Spence Orchestra performing Oh, Come, All Ye Faithful in the lobby of the 91st Street Building

As a reminder, there will be no school from Monday, December 19, 2016, through Monday, January 2, 2017. All classes resume Tuesday, January 3.

In the meantime, enjoy this year’s Holiday Card, as well as ones from years past. Head of School Bodie Brizendine and all of Spence wish you every joy of the season.
